This song was written as a sound design experiment to showcase the feeling of travelling to outer space to a space station and consequently being stuck there and the anxiety that follows that situation. It highlights both the beauty of space travel and the coldness and mystery of such isolation once there. It is one of the few songs that I have written for a feeling rather than a specific melody. I was thinking of the movie Space Odyssey 2001 while composing this.
