This song was written after listening to an album by David Braid, a prepared piano artist, in addition to an album by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Christian Fennesz, titled Cendre. Sakamoto and Braid are classically trained experimental pianists and Fennesz is an experimental noise sound designer. The Cendre album is remarkable combining crystal clear piano with noise fuzzes and blips. I thought I would have to try my own version of a song like that. It is fusing jazz and warm noises. It is one of my favourite tracks on the album. I beat boxed into a vocoder to get some of the noises. This was quite effective at getting what I wanted.
