about

This was another track recorded in England on my layover on my Nepali instruments I baught. I thought this time I would record more organically. I had a basic lesson on the street of how to play a Sarangi, but I am still a beginner. The book Zen Guitar, and Colin Fisher inspired me to make do with what skills I have and play music passionately. This is an experiment in using the two instruments together when I really had little idea what I was doing. I found a melody in there somewhere. It is difficult to produce notes on the Sarangi without long finger nails. I hate long finger nails so I was at a disadvantage out the gate. It was a creative release in taking a stab at Nepali traditional music with limited skills. It was fun.
