This song focuses on a double entendre "Mend Me at Home" which was written as literal and playful flirty meaning. It was written at a time when Anais was at her wits' end dealing with her mother dying, going to school to finish a composing degree, and moving a few times all during a pandemic all the while her husband had her back and supported her pursuits in music and supported her emotionally. This song is a nod to need for healing during a pandemic, physical, mentally, and romantically during tough times.
