I often would wake between 5 40am and 7am. Basically whenever the rooster sounded in the morning. My roommates in the guest house typically would not wake until 8am, so this gave me a window to write and record without distraction. In Canada, I typically wake at 11am, so this was a whole new pattern I developed in Nepal. This is heavily inspired by Bruce Cockburn. Now I know why he travelled the world to get inspiration for his songs. You can hear the natural ambiance of the room I was in. You can hear the hustle and bustle of traffic and other sounds on this track.
