Charlie and Grace had never recorded before. I was inspired by a family recording I had heard. I wanted to do a family style recording for my best friend Kevin Swartwood who was all the way over in England. I wanted to surprise him by pushing his parents to their musical limits (within the context of a 2 hour recording session) and encourage them to improvise and have fun laying down tracks over top of my song. This is the result and contains some of the best segments of each of their two takes.
