This track was written after Tibor gave me a ride home in a snow storm. I had a friend invite me to a jazz show in Waterloo and then didn't show up. I had a ride there but not a ride back. There was a crazy snow storm and I had to work at 8 in the morning. Buses were not running. Cabs were cancelled. I desperately posted on facebook hoping to catch the attention of my Waterloo friends offering $50 for a ride home. Most people in their right mind wouldn't agree, but Tibor answered the call. He is quite the optimist. We braved the storm and returned to Stratford. When Tibor dropped me off, he came into get out of the cold. He checked out my studio. He elated at the musical play land, so we decided to write a song together. Our interest in world rhythms collided and I set up my Ableton Push and Novation Launch Pad to work simultaneously for the first in order for us to jam. The results is a super fun fusion of Indian Music and Drum n' Bass. A song was born out some of the oddest of circumstances.
