about

This song came about from the influence that Aaron Turford's music has on me as well as the CBC late night music show that ran from 1984-2007 called Brave New Waves. It was a place where experimental music dwelled and thrived and could be heard from midnight till 5am five days a week. The song is very contemplative and has some experimental clicky rhythms. The title came about from me somehow imagining hockey players playing hockey with a large diamond instead of a puck, and going in slow motion leaving streaks behind it like that of when FOX Sports decided to do that on their telecasts in mid 90's with NHL Broadcast, much to the disdain of Canadians and other hockey fans.
